With the assistance of Florida International University and the International Hurricane Research Center (IHRC), WeatherFlow has tested all components of the H2 Weather Station under simulated hurricane conditions. The IHRC 2-fan Wall of Wind was used to test the anemometer, electronics package, solar panel, and radiation shield for wind resistance, wind speed measurement, minimization of resonance and vibration, mounting integrity, and water tightness. All equipment performed properly at wind speeds measuring as high as 122mph. Additional testing of H2 Weather Stations is planned upon the completion of larger Wall of Wind fan arrays.

Here is a short video of the Wall of Wind test for the WF H2 equipment: (check your volume!)
